How long you been coding/hacking?
A couple of years, don't remember quite well...
Hey,

I'm quite new on this forum, and not that good in game hacking.
I'm interested in game hacking with c# because I know some
stuff in this language. I already know how to use Cheat Engine quite
well.

I didn't know where to post this question so I thought of asking here,
what's a Snapshot ? What does it mean ?

C#:
IntPtr snap = CreateToolhelp32Snapshot(SnapshotFlags.Module | SnapshotFlags.Module32, procID);
I hope you'll be able to help me,
Thanks !

Take the word snapshot literally. That function just takes a snapshot of - in your example - all the loaded modules of a process at the moment you call the function.
The returned object is a handle to that object which then can be passed to Module32First/Next to go through the different modules listed in the snapshot.

Every function is very well documented on MSDN. Once you start going deep into memory and reversing you will always read documentation and detailed explanation what each function does, so MSDN is a great place to find all of that.

As I'm french, I think I was misunderstanding the word "Snapshot".
