Hello everyone!
First of all, I want to say that I'm new to the "Hacking" world, and new to this forum :p

So.. I'm trying to make a trainer for Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, and I'm having some trouble with finding the offset of some addresses, and I'm hoping someone can help me :3

1 - I found the address for the Time to make it unlimited, and the address for the coins, when I edit the values of these 2 in Cheat Engine, the value gets changed, but when I try to change it through the code (C#, following Fleep's tutorial), it doesn't change.
..
2 - I found the addresses for the X-Ray meter both for the player and the enemy, they are different addresses but they have the same offset, when I edit the value of the enemy through C# to set it to 0, it's the value of the player that changes and the one of the enemy doesn't..

Time: As you can see below, there's no offset and 00ED9B00 is the static address:

Coins: And for the coins, the static address I found is 00EE4354, and when I try to scan for 00EE4210, nothing is found..

Code:

The code for the Time:
C++:
bool unlimitedTime = false;
string timePointer = "ED9B00";
int[] timeOffset = { }; // since it didn't give me any offset, what do you I put here? :/
int timeToFill = 99;
The code for the Coins:
C++:
bool unlimitedCoins = false;
string coinsPointer = "EE4354";
int[] coinsOffset = { 0x144 };
int coinsToFill = 99999;
I'm sorry if there are some mistakes, or if some stuff is not clear enough..
Thanks in advance!

You should watch Fleeps tut on how to find multilvl pointers...
I already did.. I wouldn't be asking for help if I didn't know the basics..

Edit: I fixed the X-Ray meter issue, but the time & coins addresses are still static and no offsets :( did everything like 15times..

The idea on manual pointer scanning is that you have your value first, then you do 'what writes', search for the value cheat engine gives you and add it as pointer with the offset ce also gives you.

And btw 'mov [ecx],eax' doesn't mean there is no offset. It means the offset is 0.

Yes. But when I did that (15 times), the only address that it gave me is "00ED9B00" (which is static), I tried searching for that to find the pointer, but no results.. So does that mean that "00ED9B00" is the pointer with the offset 0? If yes, how would I go about adding in it C#? 0x...?
Thanks for the help :)!

int timeoffset [] = {0};

If you cant find it that way, do it with automatic ptr scan.

Hey man, thanks for the help. Found it finally, did a 2 bytes search instead of 4 and it gave me the pointer =)
