Hello,

What do you guys think of creating a github organization where we create repositories of our public hacks, so that we can report bugs, help eachother and update old hacks?
I think it would contribute alot to the community.

Let me know what you think.

I think it'd be awesome. I wouldn't mind throwing in a few projects to start with.

Maybe we can also add projects of the videos and improve them, people will still be able to download the old versions.

Also, I don't mind setting it up and maintaining it, thats not the problem.

Yeah heh, I'm assuming the problem would be getting people to actively participate and maintain hacks?

EDIT:
And yeah, I think putting the source for the videos up on it would be a great idea. Adding on to and making them better for the future would be great :)

But isnt that why most people are here? to create/learn about hacks?
Meh, I think the majority of visitors just want free hacks. We do have quite a few members who are here to actually learn, but I definitely believe a large majority of the people that come are only coming in to find free hacks.

EDIT:
But the purpose of the site most certainly is to help people along in there journey. If we could get newer members started on projects that we put out, I think it'd be awesome.

Haha no problem.
We can obviously use that account for your idea, that's what I've created it for..
I have no idea of github anyway I just created a repository:D (placeholder)

I'll take a look at it tomorrow as I do like your idea.

Yeah well the problem is we cant create an organization when a user already has that name. User accounts and organizations are different things, but they share the same name database. Its better if you create an account wit hyour name and then an organization with guidedhackings name.
