Using cheat engine, how can I find what my crosshair points to?

Like it's 1 when an enemy is at our aim
Its 0 when pointed to ground or any surface
And 2 of pointed to friendly

In my game, Crosshair turns red when pointed to enemy, green when pointed to friends and white when pointed to anything else.. Like ground, sky, objects etc...

How do I find the address which gets changed in this process?

P.S: I tried unknown initial scan of 4bytes and then changed.. Unchanged.. Didn't help. Same with float.

Any ideas?

What game?

Look at the floor. Search all types, unknown initial value. Look at enemy, search for changed value. Look at floor, search for changed value. Repeat :)
