Do you like to listen to music or it is hard to keep concentration and you prefer silence cause of the big amount of data you need to keep in your head?
If you like to listen to music, what genre ?
Do you play on any musical instrument ?
Nice music for coding

It depends on the mood I think, mostly silence.
I would like to play on electrical guitar, but I have no opportunity to learn how to.
I consider that playing on some instrument develops the left hemisphere of the brain. I think if I could play on a guitar I would extract pleasure from this process , like from coding.

Yeah I usually do. Typically, like till0sch97, I listen to rap/rock.
As for instruments I play guitar and piano also some other toy like instruments like the Irish whistle (aka penny whistle).

I like listening to classical while I practice coding, and I play the guitar. I like rap and dubstep, its just the words and bass distract me.

Rock and Rap mostly. Usually Eminem for rap, but I do listen to 2 Pac and Dre. Too many to list for rock.

For me, dubstep is my favorite genre, but it actually distracts when coding. Rap is relaxing, so i go for it.

I have pretty bad ADD so I can't listen to music and focus on something else at the same time anymore :( but I used to either listen to metal/hardcore or the catchiest electro I could find.

As for instruments I play guitar, bass, drums and I used to play trumpet lelel

Depends on the mood, usually its a no if it requires thought process. Same thing goes when I want to write, I usually tend to be more focused.

Listen to music of course

I usually listen to chip tunes on repeat or a playlist of them. In fact there's rarely silence when i am sitting next to the computer. This tune is what i am listening to right now :D
