Hey guys,

i'm working on a little bf3 hack with my best friend, but we are getting a error, and we are not sure what it is.

Error 1 error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'd3dx9.h': No such file or directory.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Don't copy and paste. Learn how to use d3d
https://guidedhacking.com/threads/how-to-get-started-with-directx-9-direct3d9-hooking.10402/

Some old source code and tutorials utilize the D3D9X library. This is deprecated and is no longer part of the Windows/VS SDK. Read more here.

You must download Direct3d9 SDK June 2010 to get this lib. Download Here and install. Then go to your project properties and add these to your project dependency include folders:

Includes:
$(DXSDK_DIR)Include
Libs:
$(DXSDK_DIR)Lib\x86

Sometimes you need to manually define these:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft DirectX SDK (June 2010)\Include
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft DirectX SDK (June 2010)\Lib\x86

Learn more about Direct3D9 here

I've changed the Directories of Include en Library, but from 101 errors we are getting 1 error now..
The error is: Error LNK1561: Entry point must be defined

Do you have a main() function?
