Ok, I'm trying to create own mp3 player (which is really simple), but with it being overlayed over any other window.
So, if I'm in game that is full screened, like league of legends, combat arms, world of warcraft etc... I want it to overlay and always be there so I can manipulate it, click buttons, select song from playlist and etc.
There is a similar skype, and messaging program called overwolf (you can google it), which overlays game windows so you can chat on skype and etc while in game, and even browse with its included browser.
I have found code on this site, but I'm having a lot of trouble with it, I found out that I need to add using System.Threading; and system interloop services, but I got a lot of other errors in it, like device and etc.

I tried using TopMost and it doesn't work while in game.
I would be grateful if someone could help me with this and open my eyes. I'm struggling with it for 2 days, and I can't figure it out.

Ty, and I'm sorry if that link looked like advertise, feel free to remove it if it endangers forum.

What you can try doing is making something like the menu in Fleep's tutorials which would allow you to do that only now you will be drawing an mp3 player haha but you cant use top most when a game is in full screen

I thought about it but isn't it a dll that needs to be injected? From his tutorials?
Because I don't want to be banned because of injected mp3 player :)
Gonna check his tutorials again. Ty :)

Yes your right, I think injecting a dll would limit you. Depending on the DirectX version of the game, also the game could be openGL etc. From my point of view DLL injection is not the way to do this.
I havent done this before so im not too sure, your best bet would be to keep following the way that Xfire, steam and all those apps do. Not sure how you do it but that seems the best approach imo.

I replied looking at things from a LoL point of view haha pretty sure that wud work in that game but yea u never know till u try :)

Note: All three of the games you had in ur OP use directx but for a game like CA you need a bypass to inject ur dll dunno about WoW and i think u don't need a bypass for LoL coz i have a friend he runs a site that depends on hooking the connect function inside LoL, u probably know it lolmatches :)

Yh your solution is fine, but if Subtellite wanted to share this with friends later on just so they can all listen to music it would be a bit crazy, specially if the injector was detected and they were banned. He cant limit himself to just a few games, he may want to play also on steam and any other platforms.
If he just wants it for himself and a couple of games the dll injection method works fine.
