Hey there guys as some of you know i have been implementing a ranking and achievements system in the last week.

Here is how it works, you earn points for doing a wide range of things these include:
  • Posting
  • Creating threads
  • Giving/Receiving thanks on posts
  • Rating threads, Getting your threads rated
  • Posting/receiving Visitor messages
  • Creating/Voting in polls
  • Adding friends
  • People referring you when joining the site
  • Days registered
  • Mentioning/tagging/quoting other members
  • Completing profile

All your last 5 achievements will be seen on below your profile on posts.

So all there is to it is be active on the site, thank people when they have helped you and just generally be active.

Note that some of the achievements images aren't great, in time I will get a whole new range of them.

Thanks for reading please leave any questions or feedback regarding the system below (please STAY on topic)

All I get for that achievements page is a page that says "Sorry, vBActivity is unavailable at the moment while we are testing some functionality. We will be back soon..."
Thanks for letting me know Alex, it should be visible now. :)

Nice work, I have some feedback though :D

When on the left side, in topics, where it shows the user's profile, it shows the last 5 achivement earned, yes? But lets say your last achivements earned are like all from the 'time' group, so it shows for example: "missed", "awol", "been around", and 2 more of those, but the poster actually is like an elite poster who also has for example "posting god" achivment. What I'm thinking is that those five should resemble like the biggest/best achivments got, not the last 5. I think it would be better and more rewarding when it won't show the achivements got from the same group of the achivements, eg 'time' in my example. Oh god I hope I'm making some sense here lol

Nice. But why is it so that you get multiple 'time' achivements. I mean, well I have
Did you see this through notifications or activity?
I haven't had any double achievements yet

I removed those AWOL and MISSED as the detection seem buggy/wrong.

I understand exactly what you're saying here and I'm trying to do look into top 5 best.
When you get any of the Top titles E.g. "Thread Vanguard" "Posting GOD!" etc. they get 'stickied' on a above your achievements list so that part is covered.

I will see if there is a way to focus on the top 5 best achievements instead of last 5.

Thanks for the input :D
