      Hey, Skridovaste here!

      John Kittz
Hey I'm Skridovaste. I'm new to programming, but I am concentrating at the moment on C# and Python, mainly. After I can use C#, I want to use C++, and I want to do some Java here and there. I am following Head First C#, which is very good! For Python, I am interested in Game Dev, so I am following 'Invent Your Own Computer Games with Python'. I also want to do some hacking with Linux (I have a Mac, but I use VMWare to run VM's for Windows (to use Visual Studio) and Ubuntu, which I haven't really set up yet. So if you would like to offer me some tips, and welcome me, feel free!

      Re: Hey, Skridovaste here!

I don't really know much tbh. I'm going to confess that I only started C# yesterday :/ And my other confession is that I haven't done Python for maybe over a month! WEll, I'm hoping to get back into it now, and after my exams, some more.

What like game hacking, or just hacking in general (RATs, etc)?

If you wanna code in C# on a Mac, there's is a project called Mono, which allows you to use C# in a Linux/Mac Environment.

I have it already, but I prefer VS atm because I am doing Windows Forms more than Console.[quote author=supercjb1 link=topic=100.msg461#msg461 date=1338072975]

I am not sure if I am allowed to tell you this, but after exam week, Dr Aptimeemy is starting up a programming club at lunchtimes (Tuesday, I think). If you are interested tell me but don't tell anyone I told you, yet.

Mono also provides a GUI Library. It's build on GTK I think

I really don't get how to use Mono I will look into it a bit more when I am good with C#. Also, with Mono, can I make Mac apps in C#?

Yeah. You can. Just read the Mono documentation...
