      Thank you

EDIT: It worked now, I didn't know I have to loop it so my program runs for ever >.< My bad!
But I still wonder how I could make JNZ short in inline assembler work
Hooking this is unnecessary, the bytes of the instruction are:
      83 7D 08 01

You can just change it to 83 7D 08 00, and then it will compare against 0
So just write 0x00 to that byte instead

      Hi,

It's possible to recompile this HackMe with VS C++ 2010 ? (i already try to install C++ Redistributable VS 2015)
      Or Giving me a solution

The D means it's the debug version

Install the latest version of Visual Studio 2015 and you will have it

Re: C++ Detour / Hooking Function Tutorial for Game Hacking

Sorry if this does not fit in this thread, but I have another question: How should I approach my idea to let it calculate the hookLength on its own and let it to use relative addresses instead of a hardcoded one?

EDIT: Because I think that is necessary if I want to inject something into a running (Game)exe on my computer, right?

If you read the thread, this question is answered

You would calculate that address at runtime of your hack and then call the detour function with the address you calculated at runtime.

If you're having trouble with this tutorial you may want to do some more basic stuff first
