Do you have your DirectX SDK files set up in your project settings?

Try going inside your DirectX SDK folder, finding d3dx9.h, manually dragging it in to your header files and changing #include <d3dx9.h> to #include "d3dx9.h"

d3dx9.h. That's where the error is producing.

I think he included a path to much that same problem I was having to as example it should be:
Microsoft sdk 2004\include
Microsoft sdk 2004\lib

But if you make

Microsoft sdk 2004\include\x64

The error came up correct me if I write it wrong but that was the reason for my problem I hope it helped u out

Sry for bad typing but I use my mobile phone galaxy s3 8)
