      cannot set the target processor type cli cannot debug application

      John Kittz
      I've been trying to apply Fleep's ESP tutorial to another game and I'm already stuck at the attach stage. The game (space engineers) is not an option in the attach list for either Ollydbg110 or WPE Pro. I have attempted several anti-debugger counter plugins without success. I have also applied the Olly_advanced plugin for 64bit support without success.

      IDA Pro on the other hand does recognize the exe and returns an error of "Can not set the target processor type "cli" "
      Ollydbg201 shows the game in the attach list, but returns the error "Unable to attach to process 'SpaceEngineers' with ID 00001FE0 (8160.). Reason: 00000032 (ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED)"

      I am running Windows 7 64bit. I believe that the game has 64bit support. I've been trying to troubleshoot this for a couple days now and have run out of options. Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you for your help with this stupid cannot set the target processor type cli problem!

      Meh, just use cheat engine?

      Memory Viewer --> Modify code via ASM

      or

      Memory Viewer --> Tools --> Dissect code
      Memory Viewer --> View --> Referenced Strings/Functions?
      etc?

      Perhaps try a different debugger? If you are intent with olly, search up the error code and see what you can do to solve the issue.
